The information contained within this timeline is a result of a study on women’s status and their relationships (at the level of their family and local community), and the changes experienced by the Lady Health Workers after entering paid work.

All research presented within this case study was undertaken in Bangladesh and Pakistan by the Pathways of Women’s Empowerment South Asia Hub based at the BRAC Development Institute in Dhaka, in partnership with the Collective for Social Science Research in Karachi.
